BOSTON The Yankees are on the board, jazzing up a lineup in need of a spark. The club acquired outfielder/second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. on Saturday in a trade with the Marlins, which cost them catching prospect Agustin Ramirez and minor league infielders Jared Serna and Abrahan Ramirez. It was not immediately clear how the Ferguson Jenkins Jersey Yankees planned to use Chisholm manager Aaron Boone said they would work through it and had not yet talked to everyone involved but it could be in a versatile role, perhaps even introducing him to third base, which has become their biggest need. A 26-year-old native of the Bahamas, Chisholm arrives with a reputation for rubbing some teammates the wrong way in the past.
