Tyreek Hill has enjoyed a big junior season for Oklahoma State, one that has put every facet of his game -- as a receiver, a rusher, a punt returner and kickoff returner -- on full display.But while it's been a breakout season for the former junior college star in his first year at the FBS level, coach Mike Gundy doesn't believe the junior is quite ready for the NFL."I think he's got a ways to go if you're talking about competing at that level," Gundy said, . "They're the best of the best. And I think he could eventually make that, but he needs some time and some development in several areas. At some point, he or somebody who is giving him information will have to make a Benito Santiago Jersey decision on his future, but in my opinion, he needs some fine tuning in certain areas."Without a doubt, one scouting concern on Hill will be his size (5-foot-10, 185 pounds). There are some offensive skill players in the NFL no bigger than that. The ' is even smaller than Hill, but compares well because he plays a role similar to what might be asked of Hill at the next level.Of course, Hill won't grow much in a year's time, and Gundy knows it, so his concerns about the explosive undercla sman likely lie in other areas.Hill has 1,391 all-purpose yards to lead the team this year (560 in kickoff returns, 428 rushing, 249 receiving, and 154 in punt returns).
