Cementing the brand's continued commitment and credentials as supporters of the music industry and charities, Raymond Weil in collaboration with Maria Elena Holly, designed a limited & special edition Maestro as an 80th birth anniversary tribute to legendary musician Buddy Holly, recognized as the pioneer of Rock n' Roll. This Maestro x Buddy Holly is a limited edition of only 500 pieces, presenting unique & distinctive references to the artist. It features a 39.5 mm stainless steel case with a polished fixed bezel, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a galvanic silver-tone sunray dial, silver-tone hands, applied indices, and an oversized Arabic numeral at the 9 o'clock position as hour markers, a reference to Buddy's lucky number. The minute track and subseconds at the 6 o'clock position are highlighted in his favorite pale blue color scheme. The subseconds hand wears a miniature pair of Buddy's glasses as its counterweight, while his signature is centered on the dial's face. A beveled date window is situated at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the fluted crown. It is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and secured by a folding clasp with a double push-security system. The exhibition caseback's sapphire is decorated with the logo of the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation, showcasing the caliber RW4250, a Swiss automatic movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, generates up to 38 hours of power reserve and is water-resistant up to 50 meters/165 feet.
