Poor installation can lead to gaps and thermal bridging, significantly reducing insulation effectiveness. Modern installation techniques include spray foams that expand to fill cavities, and rigid panels cut precisely to size, ensuring continuous thermal barriers.

Beyond thermal benefits, insulation materials also contribute to soundproofing, making living spaces quieter by reducing the transmission of noise from outside or between rooms. Fire-resistant insulation options add another layer of safety, helping to contain fires and prevent structural damage.
