Leveling Guide: Acts 1-4

Although Walking Calamity only becomes available in Act 4, your progress in Acts 1-3 plays a critical role in Path of Exile 2 Currency ensuring a smooth transition into this meteor-focused playstyle.

Early Skill Progression

1. Volcano & Furious Slam

Start by unlocking Volcano for reliable area-of-effect damage. Pair it with Furious Slam, which synergizes well by creating additional projectiles. Support gems like Multishot, Faster Attacks, and Magnified Area significantly improve clearing speed. Once available, add Fist of War to boost Furious Slam's damage massively.

2. Pounce

Pounce applies a Mark to enemies, spawning a Wolf companion when marked targets are defeated. It also provides excellent mobility, allowing you to leap quickly between packs and speed through maps.

3. Fury of the Mountain

This skill creates lava fissures whenever you attack. When combined with Shockwave Totem or Furious Slam, it delivers consistent, automated AoE damage.

4. Ferocious Roar

A powerful Warcry that breaks enemy armor, greatly amplifying your melee damage and improving clear speed during tougher encounters.

5. Rampage

Rampage converts accumulated Rage into devastating ground slams that instantly wipe out enemy packs. Pairing it with Herald of Ash adds fiery explosions, making it one of the most satisfying leveling tools available.

During leveling, look for Path of Exile 2 Items that provide bonus Spirit or Rage generation, such as amulets or gloves. Some players also choose to buy POE2 Items to bypass early gearing roadblocks and POE 2 Exalted Orbs for sale reach the Walking Calamity power spike faster.
