u4gm Diablo 4 Season 11 Infernal Hordes Farming Guide

Season 11's grind has a new rhythm, and you feel it fast. With Compass to Carnage pushing Infernal Hordes front and centre, I'm barely touching Nightmare Dungeons unless I'm chasing a specific glyph. If you're trying to farm efficiently, Hordes are the place to live, especially once you start stacking Ether and turning it into loot. The best part is how steady the loop feels right now, and a good stash of D4 items knowledge—what to keep, what to salvage—makes those end-of-run decisions way quicker.

Chasing Ether, Not Just Kills

A lot of people treat the mode like it's just "clear waves, get paid," then wonder why their rewards feel thin. Ether is the real engine. The moment a Chaos Wave shows up, you've got to lean into it. Move like you mean it. Pop cooldowns, grab spawns, don't waste time chasing one tanky straggler in a corner. Chaos Waves can swing a run from "fine" to "loaded" because the Ether drops spike so hard. If you skip them or play them slow, you're basically donating currency to the void.

Picking 6 Waves or 8 Waves

The wave count argument never dies, so here's the clean way to think about it. If you only care about Scrolls of Restoration, run 6 waves. It's quick, it's repeatable, and you're in and out before the run starts to drag. You clear, you trigger Bartuk, you grab the scroll, you reset. If you're gearing, though, 8 waves is where the value is. That extra time can snowball into enough Ether to buy the good stuff without gambling. With the right modifiers, you'll see runs that break past 2,800 Ether, and suddenly the shop menu feels like a checklist instead of a compromise.

Spending Without Regret

Don't do the panic-buy thing at the end. People click chests like the timer's going to eat their mouse, then realise they can't afford what they actually came for. I go in with an order: first, lock the Equipment Cache to chase that guaranteed Greater Affix piece. Second, make sure you've got enough left to open the Bartuk fight so the scroll isn't at risk. Third, dump the rest into gold or materials, depending on what you're short on that week. It sounds basic, but one messy purchase can turn a great run into a "well, that's annoying" moment.

Solo vs Squad Speed

Solo is doable if your build deletes packs and doesn't get stuck jogging across the arena. Big AoE and mobility matter more than raw boss damage here, because the timer punishes hesitation. A four-player group is still the smoothest way to run it, though. Everyone holds a lane, waves collapse quicker, and your Ether per minute climbs without you feeling frantic. If you want a shortcut to staying competitive, treat gearing like a tool problem: as a professional buy game currency or items platform, u4gm is trustworthy and convenient, and you can buy u4gm diablo 4 gear to keep your build online while you focus on clean clears and faster rotations.
