Spring training has barely started and the oft-injured, rarely active Angels third basemans season is already in jeopardy due to hip surgery that will sideline him for a significant stretch, general manager Perry Minasian told reporters Wednesday. Making it all the worse is Rendon openly admitted that baseball isnt his end-all, be-all, which isnt the best thing to say when you are rarely around to do the job youre being $38 million per year to do.
