He primarily pitched in Triple-A last season, when he owned a 3.22 ERA and struck out 59 in 44 / innings. Ortega, 28, pitched in 45 games with the Angels and Twins from 2021-23 but mi sed all of last season due to a pair of surgeries, the second to remove bone spurs from his right elbow. Williams, 28, has played six minor league seasons and is awaiting his MLB debut. Last year he hit 17 home runs and batted .221 with an .800 OPS in 88 games with the Twins Triple-A affiliate.
