Water baths, steam tunnels, or hot air curing units can experience scaling, corrosion, or mechanical fatigue over prolonged operation. For hoses that carry additives or chemicals during production, these effects are accelerated, emphasizing the need for proper cleaning, monitoring, and material selection in system design.

Other auxiliary components, such as pulling or haul-off units and cutting systems, face mechanical wear. Rollers, belts, and gears can suffer from friction and misalignment, which can affect tension control, speed consistency, and overall production efficiency. Lubrication, alignment checks, and periodic replacement of moving parts are essential maintenance practices.
