U4GM Where to Farm Rascal Blueprint in ARC Raiders

If you've spent a few evenings getting bullied by armored ARC units, the Rascal starts to make a lot of sense. It's not flashy in the way Exotic kit is, and that's the point. You can take it into a rough PvE run without feeling like you've bet your whole stash on one extraction. A lot of players would rather buy ARC Raiders Items to round out their loadout, but when it comes to the Rascal, the real chase is still the blueprint. Once you've got it, this Rare grenade launcher gives you a cheap answer to Shredders, armor plates, and those messy fights where rifles just don't bite hard enough.

Why players keep chasing the Rascal

The Rascal sits in a sweet spot. It hits harder than most budget weapons, but it doesn't carry the same panic as bringing a Hullcracker into a regular raid. That matters. Nobody likes hearing the extraction timer tick down while their best gear is sitting in a backpack they might never see again. With the Rascal, you get real armor damage without that awful feeling in your stomach. It's especially useful when your squad needs one player to crack targets open while the others clean up with safer weapons.

Where the blueprint actually shows up

The annoying part is simple: no vendor is going to hand it to you. The Rascal blueprint is tied to the loot pool, so yes, RNG can be cruel. Still, you can stop wasting time on random floor junk. If you're hunting this thing properly, you should be moving from one premium container to the next. Check Weapon Cases first, then Secure Lockers, Raider Caches, and Military Lockboxes. If a room doesn't have one of those, don't turn it upside down for scraps. Grab what's obvious and keep moving. Speed matters more than tidiness here.

When your raids are worth the risk

Day raids can work, but they're not where I'd spend my best hunting time. Hurricane Events are the real window. When the emergency loot state kicks in, the better containers feel much more worth cracking open, and Rare blueprints have a better shot at appearing. If there's no storm running, Night Raids are a decent backup. They're uglier, no question. Visibility drops, enemies feel meaner, and every sound seems closer than it should be. But the loot scaling makes the extra stress easier to accept, especially if you're going in with a focused route.

Build your route before you drop

Don't load in and “see what happens.” That's how you end up looting kitchens while another squad clears the good lockers. Pick a map section with several high-value spawns close together, hit them in order, and leave before the raid turns into a repair bill. Bring enough ammo to deal with one bad fight, not three heroic last stands. Once the blueprint drops, remember you'll still need a Level 3 Gunsmith before crafting the weapon, so plan your upgrades too. If you're stocking materials, comparing gear, or checking ARC Raiders Items between runs, keep the Rascal goal in mind and don't get distracted by every shiny piece of loot you pass.
